Community Grants Coming Summer 2027

LCGA is actively developing a comprehensive grant program designed to serve nonprofits, social service providers, municipal partners and other eligible community organizations in Linn County.

Our first grant cycle will open in early 2027, with initial awards distributed in July 2027.

What to Expect

  • We are creating guidelines to help organizations quickly assess whether their missions and programs align with LCGA’s focus areas.

  • From application to review to reporting, our processes will be easy to understand, clearly communicated and built on fairness and accountability.

  • We aim to make applying for grants accessible. Templates, technical guidance and online resources will be available as part of our 2027 rollout.

  • • Review our mission and funding focus areas

    • Sign up to receive grant program updates

    • Begin organizing organizational documents often required by grants (budgets, strategic priorities, measurement plans, etc.)

    • Visit this site regularly for developing detail

  • Eligible applicants will include:

    • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations

    • Social service agencies

    • Municipal or county programs

    • Community-based organizations and qualified public partners operating within Linn County

    Detailed instructions, timelines and evaluation criteria will be available as the grant program is finalized.
