Upcoming Meetings

The LCGA Board of Directors typically meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at the time listed below. Meeting agendas will be posted to this webpage at least 24 hours prior to each meeting. Until in person meetings are held, a link to a virtual meeting will be included in the posted agenda. Please note that meeting dates and locations are subject to change based on scheduling needs or other circumstances.

Linn County Gaming Association Board Meetings are open to the public, in accordance with Iowa Code, Chapters 21.  Board agendas are linked here and will be posted with final edits no later than 24 hours prior to the board meeting. 

Public Participation:

Members of the public may request to present information to the Board. To do so, prior approval is required, and the individual must be included on the official meeting agenda. Requests to be added to the agenda must be approved by the  LCGA Board Secretary Executive Director at least one week in advance of the scheduled Board meeting. 

Board Presentation Policy by Grant Applicants:

The Board of Directors does not permit in-person presentations by grant applicants. All applications are expected to stand on their own merit during the review process. However, at the Board's discretion, a personal presentation may be requested if a project is particularly complex or involves unique or extenuating circumstances.
