The Linn County Gaming Association (LCGA) is dedicated to bringing high-quality gaming, entertainment and community development to Linn County. View our Mission Statement and Purpose below to learn more about our goals and commitment to the community.

  • The mission of the Linn County Gaming Association is to improve the quality of life for current and future generations in our region. We seek to strengthen communities by working collaboratively with local non-profit organizations to address our area’s greatest needs. Linn County Gaming Association supports community partnerships and funds philanthropic needs in the areas of education, human services, arts and culture, recreation, community development and beautification and emergency response support throughout our region.

  • The Linn County Gaming Association (LCGA) is the licensed nonprofit qualified sponsoring organization (QSO) for the Cedar Crossing Casino and Entertainment Center in partnership with the casino operator Cedar Rapids Development Group (CRDG). Cedar Crossing Casino and Entertainment Center is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa which is located in Linn County. LCGA receives 8% of net adjusted gross revenue from Cedar Crossing Casino and Entertainment Center to reinvest in charitable and civic needs in Linn County and surrounding counties. 

    The LCGA is composed of seven (7) voting board members and two (2) non-voting members who represent a range of professions and are civically engaged in Linn County. They serve on numerous non-profit boards in Linn County which cover areas such as health care, human services, the arts, labor, municipalities, and more. The non-voting members include representation by elected officials from the City of Cedar Rapids and Linn County. The current voting members are residents from Cedar Rapids, Marion, Center Point and Palo.
